Which valuation do you need?
Probate Valuation
An independent RICS-compliant valuation of a property for the purposes of estate administration. Required by HMRC to establish the value of the estate at the date of death.
Help to Buy Valuation
Required when redeeming or staircasing a Help to Buy equity loan. Must be carried out by a RICS Registered Valuer and submitted to Homes England.
Capital Gains Tax Valuation
An independent valuation to establish the value of a property at a specific date for CGT purposes — typically the date of acquisition, inheritance, or change of use.
Matrimonial Valuation
An independent valuation for divorce or separation proceedings. Can be instructed by one party or jointly, and prepared to withstand scrutiny in court.
Mortgage / Private Valuation
An independent market valuation for mortgage purposes, refinancing, or your own peace of mind — where a lender-instructed valuation is not available or appropriate.
